The Nokia E72 for business users

The Nokia E72 is basically a straight upgrade for the Nokia E71 and a faster processor and a better camera. The E71 has in the United Kingdom since June 2008 and is one of the top selling mobile phones for business users in the UK and overseas, so how does it size up to it, the older brother?

It looks very much like a typical Blackberry in terms of size, shape, and the QWERTY keyboard, but how does it work really measure up to the other smartphones on the market.

It is a very nice phone as you will see from the video below, mind you, it’s not as nice as the new HTC Desire, or for that matter to the i-phone, but I think that a matter of opinion if you are a fan of the front to the QWERTY keyboard, then you will probably find it quite geeky on. It looks quite business like with the silver border around the edge and simple style of running. As with all Nokia E

the area, there are four short cut buttons below the screen for the budget, calendar, contacts and e-mail. In those four are the call and end call buttons.

between the short-cut keys is a beautiful optical trackpad for general navigation within the menus is to use relatively accommodating and nice.

The QWERTY keyboard keys are a bit harder and more pronounced than on the Nokia E71, for a more accurate and faster typing such a good improvement over its predecessor, the buttons are softer than on the < ; a rel = “nofollow” onclick = “makes javascript: pageTracker. _trackPageview (‘/ outgoing / article_exit_link’);” href = “http://mobilephones. businesssavingsadvice. co. uk / handsets / rim-blackberry / blackberry-curve -8900-for-business / “title =” BlackBerry Bold 8900> BlackBerry Bold 9700 , since they are made of plastic, but not quite so, although such an improvement over the E71, they are not so easily have the latest BlackBerry pronounced use QWERTY keyboard.

The Nokia E72 runs on the Symbian Series S60 third addition to the operating system and business mobile users to the office section will be found in the menu excellent, as you can create notes and create a profile Excel and Word files with Quick Office, view PDF files, use a dictionary and a calculator.
The home screen on the device gives a quick access to many features. “media” in the main menu will take you through a ten other functions like a radio, Media Player, Music Store, recorder, gallery, camera, share online, real player, video and music search.

The media player can play music and use the new 3rd 5 mm headphone jack means that a larger number of standard headphones with this phone as the Nokia E71 can be used. The sound quality is good and the supplied headphones are absolutely fine, but obviously not as good as specialists headphones – the sound goes up to a good band, at least enough to drown out the buzz on the train to the office in the morning.

The video formats are limited a little, but you can download a DivX Player to give you more choice. The browser is nice, pages load fast enough apart from a few of the larger sites that I visited a good 50-10 seconds, which is when you on the phone to a client does not ideal and a little disappointing after took with my hands on the HTC Desire. However, you can scroll the page nice and simple.

The phone comes with both 3G and Wi-Fi So download speeds are pretty good. The main drawback is the second 4 inch screen means that you can not see, must hold the full web page on most of the screen to scroll from right to left – that’s my pet hate with Web browsing on the phone for such a large cross on the mark.

messaging and e-mail is nice and easy with the QWERTY keyboard when you first into the e-mail function, you can go called, your accounts are linked. It is not really comparable with many other smart phones out there is pretty good but not less. A function that I really liked was that you two profiles that have made on the phone, a mobile for business use and one for when you leave office. You can

your e-mail with Microsoft Exchange at work, and then click Hotmail or whatever you do in the evening. You can also use a journal for business and one for your social life. It’s always good to have a clear definition between the two sides to your life as a great feature – nice one!

cameras on Nokia phones are usually pretty good and they have done it again with the Nokia E72 as a 5-megapixel camera so pretty good quality – the LED-flash was simple, but was OK results – as with most phones, it works best in good light.

Nokia E72 can be free on £ 20 per month, 24-month contract or for around £ 300 SIM-free phones pretty cheap as a business go to small number of users.
